Ugandan Orphan Project |
|
We decided as a family that for all CDs we personally sell, 1/3 of the proceeds will go to a worthy cause. Currently we are supporting a project in Uganda. During a mission trip in 2007, Nicole met Sr. Mary Bernard Tumusiime of Nyangole parish Orphanage. Sr. Mary Bernard would like to be self sufficient in running the orphanage. She is endeavoring to have a rooming house built for rent. From this income, she could supply the needs of the orphans. Please contact us if you would like to help Sr. Mary Bernard out. |

Dear Donor,

My Dear Richard Nicole. Thanks for all the struggles your going through for the good of my orphans. Hope you are well and keeping fit in the Lord, May His Holy name forever be praised in the Heavens and on earth. I sent you the mail but I think you never got it as Joseph Alumansi was wondering whether we are in touch. You asked how many orphans I take care of? The answer is 26. ... Thank you very much my dear Sister. May the Lord Continuously Bless you in all you do. God Bless you. Sr. Mary Bernard |

Received Tuesday, March 23rd, 2010. This was a thank-you note after having sent a donation to Uganda back in February.
My Dearly Beloved sister Nicole and the Beloved Family Of God. I send you my love and cordial greetings. I am sorry I have been silent, our internet isn’t good enough. It looses net work all the time. I hope I told you that I received the funds. Next months we shall lay the foundation and put up a one room apartment and rent it out there is none apart from you who has contributed so far, and surely I want the funds to achieve its purpose. We shall rent out the one apartment, preserve the funds until it will be enough for the next one and so continue that way. Thank you very much for giving us the beginning. I thank the Almighty God who has given me the Blessing of that Holy Family that has helped me live a happy religious life. I will never thank God enough the only gift I can give you is to tell God that you are. I am very grateful indeed and eventually many problems of the Orphans will be solved. Convey my best regards to Daddy, Mum and the entire family. |
